Most tourists come to Rome to see the ancient things, also to wander the medieval and see the Renaissance and the Baroque. But there's much more to Rome than that. This blog entry continues photos from this wonderful exhibition in the Baths of Diocletian, of twentieth century 'primitivist' sculpture by major figures in European art, in context with timeless art of traditional societies. That is, a multidimensional exhibition, inside a state gallery in what was a church, in what was the greatest Imperial Roman bath house.
