A promotional ad for Rome at the entrance to Metro Cavour.
It's a pseudo search, saying
"Rome is everybody's, Rome is beautiful, Rome is light, Rome is eternal, Rome is home, Rome is poetry, Rome is art, Rome is roots..."
So not a search, but real markers of what this city is all about.

Piacenza

Imagine that you have had a difficult life. Now read the history of Piacenza. Imagine a senate confronted by restless folk concerned about a war overseas. So you step out and proclaim or midnightly tweet “hey forget the war, hike over the Appenines and if you get there in thirty days, we'll give you land and rights as Romans”. The history records what happened to those who got there, there is no mention, as is common in history records, of those who didn't make it. You will see from the history the problems people have, living by a major river crossing on railways and highways to everywhere, attracting among other things the 300 bomber raids a day of 1944 in World War 2, remembered by some we met: “Yes that was in the year I was born” and “Yes, there was a bomb right here on the corner of the piazza (del Duomo). After World War One, my father (pointing to large photo in uniform) rode by bicycle selling kitchen things until he could afford to open this shop.”  History in Italy comes right up to now of course.

Piacenza is now a modern and attractive city of about 100,000.

Here is an example of how we observe that people not only love to walk but also love to talk.

We know from conversations that some will get a cat when children want a pet because of the constant need to walk the dog “It’s hard enough managing two small children!”. This movie also makes clear that dogs would like to talk too. And not be limited to reading the tea leaves shall we say politely.
